:: Unusual geometric diamond shaped center medallion for type with end finials adorning either end atop an open field with classic millefleur stylization throughout. Colors and shades include: Cochineal red, navy blue, ivory, gold, blush, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Several threadbare hole-prone areas to the interior of the rug. Still remains with many years of enjoyment in light traffic. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kerman square rug mat made in Persia circa 1910's vintage.
