"Momento Mori" is a Latin term, describing a symbol or trinket that reminds us that death comes for us all, there is no escape. And as such, we should make the most of the time we have.

It is another way of saying Carpe Diem, or "Seize the Day", but with a time component.

Traditionally, a human skull was kept as a Momento Mori. And an hourglass.

But those aren't really practical in today's society.

Available in sizes 9.5 to 16, including all half sizes.

You have your choice of a rich patina finish or a bring polished finish. 

I recommend the patina finish for this ring - the lettering and detail are much more visible against a dark background. The patina will wear and fade over time, but I think about it like a new pair of leather boots or jeans - they take on their own personality over time.
